The UEFA Champions League draw for the upcoming season will be conducted in a whole new manner. Unlike previous years, where teams were divided into groups, this time around all the 36 teams will be placed in a single league table. The UEFA club coefficient is a ranking system that takes into account a club’s performance in European competitions over the past five seasons. This system is used to determine the order of teams in Pots 2 through 4 for the upcoming UEFA Champions League draw. By shifting the focus to the club coefficient, UEFA aims to promote a fairer and more competitive playing field for all participating teams.
