Bayern Munich Leading the Race to Sign Michael Olise from Crystal Palace

Bayern Munich is reportedly feeling more and more confident in their pursuit to sign Michael Olise from Crystal Palace. Sources close to the situation have informed ESPN about Bayern’s growing optimism in securing the 22-year-old midfielder.

Despite Crystal Palace’s reluctance to part ways with Olise, they understand his desire to advance his career. This led them to give permission for three clubs, namely Chelsea, Bayern Munich, and Newcastle United, to engage in talks with the talented player.

Although Manchester United had been keeping tabs on Olise for quite some time, they have not yet made a move to acquire him. Instead, the club is focusing on reinforcing other areas of their squad, with pursuits for Jarrad Branthwaite and Leny Yoro in defense, as well as Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna.

Sources have revealed that Olise is now leaning towards a potential move to Bayern Munich. Despite efforts from Crystal Palace to extend his contract, Olise seems determined to explore new opportunities with the German giants.

During the previous season, Olise showcased his talent by scoring 10 goals and providing six assists in just 19 appearances. This exceptional performance has caught the attention of several top clubs, including Bayern Munich and Chelsea.

Having failed in their attempt to sign Olise last summer, Chelsea has turned their focus to other targets. The London club is currently in discussions with Aston Villa regarding a potential move for forward Omari Kellyman, showing their willingness to invest in promising young talents.

It is reported that Chelsea is prepared to offer around £19 million ($24 million) for Kellyman. This substantial sum reflects the club’s belief in the young player’s potential and highlights their commitment to securing top talents for the future.

The race to sign Michael Olise is heating up, with Bayern Munich emerging as a strong contender for his signature. As negotiations continue between the involved parties, it remains to be seen where the talented midfielder will end up for the upcoming season.
