Dani Carvajal Encourages Rodri to Join Real Madrid

Spain and Real Madrid defender Dani Carvajal has been vocal about his desire to see his national team mate, Rodri, join the ranks at Real Madrid. Despite currently playing for Manchester City and having a contract until 2027, Carvajal believes Rodri’s skillset would be a perfect fit for the Madrid team.

Carvajal has not been shy in his attempts to persuade Rodri to make the move to Madrid. During the European Championships in Germany, Carvajal has been actively encouraging Rodri to return to his homeland. Carvajal has been quoted saying, “I tell [Rodri] every day to come to Madrid. I tell him: ‘Leave Manchester, there is no sun there, and come to Madrid, we need you. And what’s more, you’re from Madrid.'”

Despite Carvajal’s efforts, Rodri seems content with his current situation in England. Rodri has expressed his happiness at being part of Manchester City, a top club in the Premier League, stating, “I am at one of the best clubs in the world and I am really happy in England. I have three years left on my contract and, when the moment arrives, I will see.”

While Carvajal believes Rodri would be a perfect signing for Real Madrid, it seems that Rodri is focused on the present and is not making any commitments regarding his future. With his current contract running until 2027, it remains to be seen if Rodri will ever make the move to Madrid as Carvajal desires.

Rodri’s performance during the European Championships, as well as his successes with Manchester City, have garnered attention and praise. While Carvajal sees Rodri as an ideal addition to the Real Madrid lineup, only time will tell if Rodri decides to make the move to the Spanish capital. For now, fans can only speculate on what the future holds for the talented midfielder.
